Susan Rogers is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) who moved from Ypsilanti, MI, to Perrysburg, OH, in January 2018 with her husband of 27+ years, Rick Rogers. She learned yoga from a private teacher who encouraged her to pursue teacher-training through Yogafit. Susan taught yoga in Ypsilanti for two years before moving to Ohio and also taught senior yoga at the Perrysburg Senior Center last fall. She had to pause her yoga teaching in October 2018 when she started a new job as manager of business development at the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP) in Bowling Green. She is eager to get back to teaching!
Her classes will begin with a warm-up, cover the basic poses of yoga, include lots of breathing and stretching, and end on a relaxed note. It is open to everyone (all levels) at no charge, but especially those who are new to yoga or who haven’t done it in a while and need a refresher. Young people who are old enough to follow instruction are also welcome to participate. Aim to arrive 5-10 minutes early to settle in. Bring a mat or beach towel, a bottle of water and wear loose clothing.
